Argh! Just received more notes from the same anonymous person again today! Yikesss. This is seriously starting to freak me out. I told Ethan about it, but he just brushed my concerns, saying that this is simply the price of fame.
But is it?
I’m beginning to have my doubts. Do I really want to be stalked and harassed just in the chase of becoming a known singer? Is this - my privacy, being able to maintain a personal life - all worth giving up in return for becoming a full-time singer?
Ethan says what I’m feeling now is just cold feet, especially with my debut concerts just a couple of days away. But it’s so unnerving, knowing that someone out there is crazy (or stalkerish) enough to leave you anonymous drawings and notes for you.
Times like these, I wish J were around. He’d know what to do.
:(
The forgotten back alleys behind Singapore’s shophouses!
A couple of weeks ago, the Lomography Gallery Store lent me a camera to play with, and I -loved- it.
That’s not to say that I don’t love my trusty digital camera. But there’s something special about using film to shoot. It’s the way the film crinkles when you pull it out of its can, and the intoxicating smell of the photos when you pick them up from the photo studio.
Maybe I’m just an old soul.
More lomo shots to be posted over the next few days! Stay tuned!
I just received this drawn picture of myself in the mail today. No return address, no note, no nothing.
Other than a ‘343’ sign, I have no clue as to who drew this. Asked my friends, especially the funny ones, if they were the ones behind this, but no one has said anything so far.
Not sure whether I should be flattered or creeped out.
Maybe I’ll ask what Ethan has to say about this. :\
It’s quite unnerving, but exciting at the same time to see your face plastered on all these various places.
Three more weeks to the first show! I can’t wait!

The iPhone app for my show is now available at the Apple store! Come join me at my debut concert by downloading the app at http://itunes.apple.com/sg/app/songbird-story/id520417453?mt=8&ls=1, or searching for ‘Songbird Story’.
Please share this with your friends as well! It’s going to be a great gig!
Now that the dates of my debut are closer than ever (6 more weeks! eek!), I find myself needing that daily cup of coffee more than ever. Between the rehearsals, music practice and meetings with the PR team and record label, sometimes I feel like my days never end.
Nevertheless, I wouldn’t trade this for the world.
